So let’s get to work.

FEATURES of Meguiar’s Ultimate Liquid Wax

What are the main features and benefits that make this wax ultimate?

Is this car’s wax truly the best on the market?

This synthetic product has certain qualities that differ from natural waxes like carnauba wax. Because it’s synthetic it offers durability and superior protection for a longer period of time.

For ease of use, this wax also comes up on top. As the name says, Meguiar’s Ultimate Liquid Wax is a liquid as opposed to a paste.

Because this a liquid wax, it goes on easy, hazes quickly and makes removal and polishing stress-free.

All in all this product offers performance with an effortless application and long-lasting results. Meguiar’s Ultimate Liquid Wax lives up to its name.

This is the ultimate wax for all your automotive care needs.

Meguiar’s Ultimate Liquid Wax–PROS

  • This wax is hydrophobic.[/su_list]

You got it, this wax has a real fear of water and does everything to repel water off your car’s surface. With other waxes, water will bead on the surface, while water on a Meguiar’s surface does not have a chance to bead.

The product’s make-up increases surface tension and because of this you can watch the water just fall away.

Because the water glides off, you will have no issues with water stains ensuring a shine that lasts longer and looks better.

    • This wax is smooth.[/su_list]

We have already mentioned Meguiar’s easy application and removal but how does it handle trim and plastic?

Unlike other waxes where you have to spend time and energy polishing your plastic and trim, Meguiar’s leaves no white residue and makes buffing your trim hassle–free.

Think of the time and energy you will save. This wax is also safe on all glossy paint surfaces and you can use your hands or a polisher to apply.

      • This wax is bright.[/su_list]

Why do you wax your car? For the shine of course.

Meguiar’s amps up the shine and provides that wet glossy look we all want. You’ll be able to adjust your sunglasses in this mirror-like shine.

Besides being bright, Meguiar’s Ultimate Liquid Wax protects against dirt.

Days after you will be able to clean off grime and smudges easily and quickly. Some users claim the shine is not as good as carnauba wax.

We realize the type of shine comes down to personal preference but we also know that Meguiar’s will give you the shine you like with the added protection you need.

Meguiar’s Ultimate Liquid Wax – CONS

        [su_list icon=”icon: window-close” icon_color=”#ff1c1f”]

        • This wax is non-abrasive.[/su_list]

You may think of this as a good thing and not a negative, but it all depends on your requirements.

Because this wax is in liquid form, it does not contain the abrasives needed to repair minor scratches.

So if scratch repair is what you are looking for you will need to use another Meguiar’s product for surface damage, followed by Meguiar’s Ultimate Liquid Wax to add protection and shine.

You should also remember that it is important to wash your car before applying this product as this wax will not clean dirt by itself. Why? That’s right, it’s non-abrasive.

Think of this wax as the final coat of paint on your walls, adding protection and that last finishing touch.

          [su_list icon=”icon: window-close” icon_color=”#ff1c1f”]

          • This wax is thin.[/su_list]

            Sounds bad right?

Since most of us are used to thicker paste waxes, this liquid formula will take some getting used to.

We already discussed how Meguiar’s liquid formula allows for easy application and removal.

Since this is a liquid wax people usually use too much. If you apply this wax too thick, it will take longer to haze and be harder to remove.

If you follow the instructions, you won’t have an issue. Easy application and stunning results every time.

            [su_list icon=”icon: window-close” icon_color=”#ff1c1f”]

            • This wax is pricey.[/su_list]

We agree you can buy products less expensive than this one.

How does the old saying go?

That’s right, you get what you pay for.

We have discussed the many incredible features making Meguiar’s Ultimate Liquid Wax a go-to choice for your car care needs.

In addition to this advanced wax, the kit also includes a foam applicator and microfiber towel giving you everything you need to get started right away.

We know that the results will make the higher price tag worth it. Let us continue without Meguiar’s Ultimate Liquid Wax Review recommendation.

              Experiences with Meguiar’s Wax

I insist that I am too particular with keeping my car looking fresh and clean, which is funny because they are the same people that get wowed every time I pull up with my car looking fabulous.

I have convinced some of them to follow in my footsteps, and they now understand why I do it.

Few things beat a car that looks great, and waxing is a crucial part of that puzzle. I have been waxing my car for many years now, and it has been a productive activity. It is when I discovered Meguiar’s Ultimate Liquid Wax that things turned from good to fantastic!

Last evening I waxed my car like I occasionally do. I now use Meguiar’s Ultimate Liquid Wax exclusively, and the results were breathtaking, as always. It is a straightforward process, really, and I will describe it here.

              Preparing My Car for Waxing

The first thing I do is to wash my car. I use mild soap and water to clean it meticulously. Thoroughly cleaning the car is a crucial step that you don’t want to skip. I then wait for the car to be completely dry.

While washing the car, I usually check whether there are any patches of dull or scratched paint on it. I didn’t notice any of such patches last evening, but if I had, I’d have used a polishing compound to remove the dull paint.

This way I ensure that my car has an even coloring.

I like waxing my car in the evenings when it’s not too hot. One of the great aspects of Meguiar’s Ultimate Liquid Wax is that it doesn’t dry in considerably hot weather. But very hot weather would dry the wax faster after I apply it to the car which would make buffing difficult. But the Meguiar wax has not given me trouble in the years I have relied on it.

I waxed my car in my garage, just as I do every time I’m waxing. This way, I’m shielded from extreme weather outside, and I can have proper lighting. Back in the day when I didn’t have a garage, I used to do the waxing in the shade of a building, which was also effective.

              Waxing My Car

When I get to the actual waxing process, the first thing I do is to place some Meguiar’s wax onto a foam applicator. With Meguiar’s Ultimate Liquid Wax, you don’t need to use a lot of wax per surface area of your car since it is highly responsive. I use a silver dollar-sized amount of the wax for every 2 square inches of my car.

Applying too much of the wax would lead to wastage of this precious product. The thin layer of wax bonds perfectly with the surface of my car. You can also use a damp sponge if you don’t have a foam applicator.

I then gently make overlapping circular motions with the foam applicator over every small section of my car. The aim is to apply the wax evenly all over the car.

I divide my car into sections and then start with one part and proceed to another after I’m done with that section. I don’t apply too much pressure when applying the wax – I just make gentle, overlapping strokes and It does the job very well.

When I’m done with the applicator, I then use my orbital buffer to buff the car. The buffer helps me buff out any inconsistencies and also apply a little more wax. After applying some wax to the buffing pad, I set the buffer at a low speed. I then evenly hold the buffer on the surface of the car to buff the car. This is an optional step, but I like to do it as well.

I then let the wax stay on the surface of the car for a few minutes. The Meguiar’s Ultimate Liquid Wax is highly responsive, and it doesn’t take long before getting the job done. I simply turn up the music and wait for a few minutes for the magic to take place.

I can tell whether the wax is ready for removal by swiping the wax with my finger. If I get a smear, it is not ready for removal. If it’s clear, it is time for it to come off.

I then use a microfiber cloth to get the wax off the surface of the car. I make circular motions with the microfiber cloth on the car to wipe away the wax. I use one side of the cloth until it begins to drag, which is a sign of too much wax buildup. I then flip the cloth or get another piece of cloth and continue the removal process.

I make sure that I polish every section of the car meticulously. This is my favorite part of the waxing process as it gives my car a perfect polish and a smooth finish.

Getting the most of my wax

I get high mileage out of the Meguiar’s Ultimate Liquid Wax. My beautiful wax finish remains intact for a long time. I also wash my car using mixes that are manufactured purposely for cars with wax finishes. This way, I get more mileage out of my waxing.

If I notice any streaks on the surface of my car after I remove the wax, I put distilled water in a spray bottle, and then add some rubbing alcohol into the water and mix vigorously. I then use the solution to lightly mist the sections with the streaks.

In my waxing experience, the type of wax you use is the ultimate determinant of the results you get. I have in the past tried multiple kinds of waxes, and I can confidently say that the Meguiar’s Ultimate Liquid Wax is the best of them all. It gives my car an incredible shine that lasts for long periods. I also don’t use much of the wax per waxing session as it is highly effective.

              Our Recommendation

Meguiar’s Ultimate Liquid Wax is a product proven to give you impeccable results with minimal effort.

We have all tried the regular car waxes on the market.

We realize that carnauba wax has been your go-to for years, but our recommendation is to give this Meguiar’s liquid wax a try.

This is an advanced formula that delivers a deep shine with added protection, increased longevity and above all it’s easy to use.

Because of its unique formula, you can even apply this wax in direct sunlight.

              Now that’s worth trying.

Just make sure to put on some sunscreen first.

That’s on yourself, not on the car.

Perhaps you are still on the fence, or you may consider your wax as the best you have ever used.

Why spend the extra money to try this wax?

              Here’s the point,

Meguiar’s will give the showroom shine you expect but will last longer and protect your car’s finish better.

But here is the best part,

this wax is so easy to use you’ll spend less time waxing and more time driving.

Isn’t that what it’s all about?

So get out and enjoy the drive with the help of Meguiar’s Ultimate Liquid Wax.
